Whether you're spinning records on your turntable, streaming music via Bluetooth, catching up on your favorite shows on TV, or delving into the depths of your digital music library, the SpeakEasy 4 speakers effortlessly accommodate all your audio sources. With both analog and digital inputs, the possibilities are endless. SpeakEasy 4 connects seamlessly with Andover’s SpinDeck 2 turntable and Songbird internet music streamers.
Unlike most powered speakers, which only offer a single input and Bluetooth, the SpeakEasy 4 speakers are unique with their wide array of inputs. From a dedicated phono input to digital inputs, SpeakEasy provides unparalleled flexibility that others in its class simply don't. Whether you're a vinyl enthusiast or a digital streaming connoisseur, SpeakEasy has you covered.
SpeakEasy 4 boasts advanced bi-amplification with a separate amplifier circuit for each tweeter and woofer. Most powered speakers only use one amplifier with a passive crossover to distribute frequencies, but SpeakEasy's digital crossover ensures a more precise transition between highs and lows. This leads to more natural sound reproduction, especially with instruments that have strong midrange frequencies. Unlike conventional crossovers that can create slight discontinuities, SpeakEasy’s setup delivers a seamless audio experience. Enjoy clarity and detail like never before.
Although you can't see them, the internal components of the SpeakEasy 4 speakers are of superior quality, far exceeding those found in many other speakers. SpeakEasy stands apart in delivering exceptional audio performance.
Step into the world of vinyl with confidence, courtesy of the Andover SpeakEasy 4 speakers equipped with a built-in phono preamplifier. No need for additional equipment or complicated setups. Experience rich, deep bass and crystal-clear highs with the SpeakEasy 4's carefully designed 4" woofer and 3/4" silk-dome tweeter. Housed in a compact ported enclosure, these speakers deliver room-filling sound without taking up valuable space in your home.

Phono Input: For vinyl LP playback, the SpeakEasy 4’s Phono input is compatible with most turntables without requiring a separate phono preamplifier.
Auxiliary Input: This is an analog input that can connect a CD player, tuner, personal computer, or any other line-level source.
Digital Inputs: The SpeakEasy 4’s Toslinks accept high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz (two-channel PCM only, no Dolby or DTS decoding is provided).
HDMI-ARC: This makes it easy to get audio from a HDMI-ARC enabled TV (most TVs) to the SpeakEasy 4 — making it a great soundbar substitute in addition to music playback.
USB Port: This allows the playback of song files stored on USB flash drivers directly through the SpeakEasy 4, as well as being able to power and charge a mobile device (smartphones, tablets) or Andover’s own Songbird Streamer.
Bluetooth: The SpeakEasy 4 includes a built-in Bluetooth receiver.
Preamp Outputs: The SpeakEasy 4 also has line pre-outs that permit connection of additional powered speakers, and/or a powered subwoofer.
LED Night Mode: This sets the speakers’ internal lights to dim five seconds after the user changes the volume, advances a track, or makes another adjustment.
Control: Easily control the SpeakEasy 4 with its included IR remote, or with its intuitive front-panel control knob with LED to indicate operation modes.
Automatic Power-On: The SpeakEasy 4 wakes from Standby mode when an audio signal is sensed on the input that was active when the speaker was last placed on Standby. This means that when you turn your selected source component on the SpeakEasy 4 will automatically wake so you can hear the music.
Grilles: The speakers come with removable grilles.
Bass Reflex: The SpeakEasy 4 has a MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) cabinet that incorporates internal bracing and a bass reflex slotted vent for lower resonance.
